Barcelona’s most inquisitive local television programme, Barcelonautes on 8tv has chosen Espinaler as the Veermutera reference in Catalonia.
In this interview with Miquel Tapias, current owner of Espinaler and fourth generation of the head of the business, he recalls the history of the company and takes us on a tour of two of the Espinaler premises: the original tavern, dating from 1896, and the Vilassar de Mar warehouse, opened in 2000 and which in 2012 was listed as the best gourmet shop in Spain.
