The economic TV programme, ‘Valor Afegit’, broadcast on the Catalan public broadcaster, TV3, has chosen Espinaler as a business example of growth, to dedicate its report for the October 2015 edition.
The current owner of Espinaler and member of the fourth generation to run the business, Miquel Tapias, recalls in this interview the company’s trajectory.
The video takes a look at Espinaler’s two neighbours in Vilassar de Mar: the original tavern, which opened in 1896, and the macro-store, located in an industrial estate in the same town since 2000. This shop was awarded Best Specialised Gourmet Retail in 2012, and has more than 3,000 references, the logistics warehouse and the company’s headquarters.
