This Saturday 15th February, International Children’s Cancer Day, the Mariona Association, and the Maresme Family Association of Children with Cancer, has invited schools, businesses and many other institutions in Vilassar de Mar and the Maresme area to take part in the balloon inflation to commemorate this day.
The different events have been organised with the aim of showing solidarity and support for children facing this disease. The initiative is part of the campaign ‘Junts brillem més forts, com estels al cel’ (‘Together we shine brighter, like stars in the sky’), a message full of hope and unity for all affected families.
At Espinaler, in the Tavern Garrofers, we have joined this cause, giving visibility and support to those who need it most. Workers and customers have joined the initiative and have inflated the coloured balloons distributed by the Mariona Association.
